The Afghanistan Trust exists to help support soldiers who served with The Parachute Regiment in Afghanistan who have been wounded or killed as a Consequence, and their families.

The Trust gained charitable status in November 2007 (registered charity number 1121647) and since then has made many donations to injured soldiers including help with mobility, training and equipment for future employment; accommodation and transport costs for families to visit the wounded and for the bereaved to attend to attend remembrance services.


FORTHCOMING EVENTS

Hibis Europe Limited are supporting the Afghanistan Trust
13 – 18 February 2012

A week of fundraising organised by Caroline Waddicor, Managing Director, Hibis Europe Limited.

The finale at the end of the week will be a social being held at the Longley Road Club in Walkden, ManchesterM28 3JA. The Chairman is Caroline’s Father, Ivor Holmes who served with 2 PARA some years ago.

During the evening there will be a presentation on the 10th Battalion the Parachute Regiment from the days of Arnhem until the late 50's. This will be followed by a presentation by Colin Smith the CEO on the Parachute Regiment Afghanistan Trust. This has the makings of an outstanding evening and we welcome your support.

The Afghanistan Trust Remembrance Ball

The Paras 10 Event - Catterick, Yorkshire
9 September 2012

The Afghanistan Trust is looking for 353 Runners to take part in the above event as a part of TEAM 353. This is in memory of Conrad Lewis 3 PARA/4 PARA and all those injured or killed in Afghanistan during Operations. The mission is to have 353 runners in support of the trust by entering and running.

Boxing - The Royal Marines Commando v. The Parachute Regiment
