CHARTRIDGE PARK GOLF CLUB SUPPORTS THE AFGHAN TRUST 30 JULY 2012

Once again Eric Roa has organised a  Golf day supporting the Afghan Trust. This received significant support from the local community. A total of 25 Teams took part.

The weather was very kind to those taking part. A lunch was provided followed by an auction which raised funds in the region of  £5000.

The overall funds raised was quite outstanding about £10000 for this event with a further £9000 carried forward from last year.

This was an outstanding effort by all those attending, the hospitality shown was second to none.

A fantastic day was had and the thanks of the Chairman and Trustees go to everybody in involved in making this day such a success.

Eric has now gone on holiday for a well-earned rest.
